How can a wedding photographer assure he’s gotten a shot of every guest? I reckon facial recognition software is the key. If there is a master roll of portraits of each guest to reference. Then we can make a program that compares the roll against the exposures taken so far. It could be called on demand. I imagine the photographer wishes to front-load the picture taking to get the guests who might leave early. Still, there would be value in setting the program to run at an interval such as an hour before official stop. Thus we can prompt the fotog, i.e. “One hour to go, and you still haven’t gotten Tom, Cindy, Paul, Ibez. Here, this is what they look like. We spotted them a minute ago near the bar.”
Hmmm, do we give our app the power to scan the crowd. Would that not lead to the ‘bot’ eventually also being equipped with photography itself?
Yes, A.I. would be of help here. But again an issue of privacy pops up.
